Thanksgiving Service 10th July 2018 On 10th July 2018 the Parish and wider Geelong community came together to give thanks for the Christ Church Community Meals Program, now in its 30th year of operation and still completely managed and run by volunteers from across the Geelong community. The Preacher was Bp Phillip Huggins, Regional Bishop of the Oodthenong Episcopate, and the service was attended by Fr Nigel Pope, the newly appointed Vicar of St Paul's Anglican Church, and by representatives of many community groups and organizations who support the Meals Program and, in many cases, are also volunteers who assist in the preparation and serving of meals.
